Situated on the top floor of the heritage listed Customs House, Cafe Sydney’s design includes dark timber and floor-to-ceiling glass doors to maximise the breathtaking views of Sydney harbour.
Recycled black butt timber flooring has been sourced from demolished historical Sydney buildings and the main floor features paintings by artist Angus McDonald of the Harbour Bridge.
Adding to the original interior, the refurbished Cafe Sydney Lounge opened in 2005. Designed by BKH, the lounge complements and invigorates the restaurant with a minimalist edge and large dramatic mirror wall as a significant feature.
